DryLin® - high performance polymer-based ball bearings and linear bearings
This compound material’s specific properties include extremely low friction coefficients for lubrication-free applications. A much reduced stick-slip effect is thus obtained, which is particularly important in high load and slow speed applications.
It also shows high wear resistance properties, vibration dampening and maintenance-free dry operation. Iglidur^® J ball bearings may be used under a wide range of operating temperatures (-50ºC to +90º C); they are resistant to weak acids and diluted leaches as well as to fuels and all kinds of lubricants. DryLin^® linear bearings are suitable for replacing ball bearings or bushing in many applications.
DryLin^® linear guides were originally designed for robotics and automation applications, aimed to develop a ruggedized linear guide for different environments. DryLin^® linear guides are shock and vibration resistant, dust resistant; they are lightweight and have no pivoting parts.
Self-Lubricated Spherical Bearings

Iglidur^® plain bearings have been designed to be used without lubricants. Built-in solid lubricants ensure a friction-reduced use. iglidur^® plain bearings are resistant to most of the traditional greases and oils, so that lubrication may be considered
Installation
Iglidur^® bearings are pressure-mounted. The inner diameter is adjusted to the relevant tolerances only after pressure- mounting. An extensive program allows using standard dimensions in most of the cases
